CANADIAN BIDDERS
Our Canadian friends can now participate in RockDawg auctions in a limited way. Although, RockDawg will not ship ANY physical inventory to Canada, Canadians will be allowed to bid on all Bid Bone packages and all Gift Cards. However, any Gift Cards won will be substitued with an Amazon.com Email Card of equal U.S. value.
Unleashed Auctions
Unleashed Auctions have no clock or count-down time. You can win this auction by being the User who lands on the specific random price of the auction. Unleashed items will be set at a random price anywhere from .01 to $15.00 depending on the value of the product. The Unleashed auction will increase by .01 cent every time a bid is placed and will not end until the specific random sell price is reached.
Note: During the Unleashed Auctions, you can place a bid on top of your own bid, even if you are the current bidder. This will increase your chances of being the User who lands on the specific random price of the item. Unleashed Auctions do Not count towards your win limits.
Bid Button
Click on the Bid Bone to place a Bid on the item.
Bid on an item
Each time you bid on an item, one bid will be deducted from your account and the auction
price will increase by $0.01. Note that once you place a bid, it is considered "used" and will not be returned to you.
Name of item
You can click the name or the picture to get more info about the item.
Retail value of item
The retail value of an item will be displayed at the top of the bid box.
Auction timer
Shows how much longer the auction will be open. Each bid placed within the last 30 seconds will add 20 seconds to the clock to allow you or others to respond.
Auction price
The price starts at zero and each bid increases it by 1 cent.
Current highest bidder
Displays the most recent bidder. If you are the final bidder when the clock runs out, you win, and the item is yours for the final auction price!
Win Limits
In fairness to all of our users, RockDawg sets a limit of 2 wins per day per user. RockDawg will also have a ONE WIN WEDNESDAY. Users are responsible for monitoring themselves. Any bids placed on auctions after win limit has been reached, and/or auctions won after win limits have been reached will be lost. Wins will be forfeited to the next highest bidder who is not over their win limit. Any monies paid towards auctions won after the win limit has been reached will NOT be refunded. Also, note: that any User who continues to bid against another User who has exceeded their win limit, will NOT be refunded bids even though other Users have unfairly increased the price of the auction. Once again, the auction may still be won by default if a User is the next highest bidder who has not exceeded their win limit. Please DO NOT bid on RockDawg if these rules are unsatisfactory to you.
There are two charges associated with using our site:
- Purchasing bids in order to participate in an auction
- Paying for an item you've won
Paying for an item
If you win an auction, this is what you will pay:
- The final auction price
- Shipping and handling on an item. These charges can be found by clicking on the item and scrolling to the bottom of the details page. It is important to look at shipping costs when forming your auction strategy.
- California state residents must pay 8.75% sales tax on physical items due to state law, because we are a California business.
Once payment has been confirmed, you will receive your item.
